Meet the Composer Event
November 15-17, 2024
This past weekend, KCMTA hosted four incredible Meet the Composer recitals at Kansas City Piano! We were thrilled to have 51 students from 12 studios participating in this unique and engaging event featuring the works of Jennifer Linn.
Students had a wonderful experience connecting with Jennifer’s music and creativity. They had the rare opportunity to hear directly from the composer about the inspiration behind their pieces and engage in meaningful dialogue, bouncing ideas back and forth. Every student even received a personalized autograph on their music score from Jennifer Linn herself!
A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer Linn for dedicating two full days to our club members and students. Your energy and insights made this an unforgettable experience!
